The registration fees are listed below and include breakfast, lunch, breaks and receptions. Please note, this meeting will be limited in its attendance, so register as soon as possible.

Registration rates:

• Regular Member: $870
• Student Member: $595
• Early-Career Member/Emeritus Member/Developing Country Member: $660
• Non-member: $1,040
• Non-member Student: $640

Workshop rate:

• DAS Workshop at Keck Observatory Headquarters: $120

Apply for Childcare Reimbursement

Applications open June 2026.

SSA’s Childcare Program will provide financial support to parents who successfully register in advance of the meeting.

SSA will reimburse documented expenses up to $12/hour per child for up to 10 hours per day on 13 October through 17 October 2026.

To qualify for the daycare program, all applications must be submitted by 23 September 2026. Applicants will be informed of approval on an ongoing basis.  

The program’s policies:

• Children must be under the age of 16.
• Reimbursement will be made after the meeting in 17 November 2026, based on documentation (receipts) supplied by daycare provider.

Childcare Options

You may use any childcare provider in the Kona area or your own childcare provider.

SSA will provide referrals for local organizations in the near future.
